Government of Arunachal Pradesh (GoAP) awarded the Demwe hydro electric project with an installed capacity of 3000 MW, under Public Pvt Partnership (PPP) model through bidding process on BOOT basis for a period of 40 years to M/s Athena Energy Ventures Pvt Ltd (AEVPL). The State Government signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with AEVPL on 9th July, 2007. AEVPL has formed a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) company namely M/s Athena Demwe Power Ltd (ADPL) for the implementation of the Project.
