DEWA exceeds global average on Sustainability Culture Indicator

DEWA has achieved outstanding results through the Sustainability Culture Indicator achieving 88.7 per cent in 2016, an increase of 3.7 per cent over the previous year and exceeding the global average. The Sustainability Culture Indicator is conducted annually by organisations to measure their ability to instil a culture of sustainability among the business community, establish a culture of sustainability among employees, and in adherence with the directives of the wise leadership, and the national objective to build a sustainable future. The survey witnessed the participation of over 3,126 employees from different sectors and reflects DEWA’s efforts throughout the year, to improve institutional performance, and implement a culture of sustainability among employees while enhancing their abilities as per the highest international standards.
