AP CM says power situation will be better by monsoon
In Andhra Pradesh, power supply situation shall improve by monsoon, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy assured consumers. Speaking at the Mahindra tractor unit inauguration, he said that the power situation was causing hardship to consumers. Demand has shot up and the supply is affected due to a lack of fuel and a low water level in reservoirs. In the state about 7,000 MW capacity is lying idle. Consumers in the state faced huge power cuts. The industry is facing power holidays and are being forced to shut units.
