Adani group announced the commissioning of a 50 MW solar PV plant in Mahoba in Uttar Pradesh under the National Solar Mission (NSM) scheme with an investment of Rs 315 crore.
As per a company statement, the string inverter technology used is the first of its kind in UP, with crystalline silicon modules that allow miniature level control of solar power generation; adding that the transmission line runs up to a stretch of 21.5 km.
Power generated by this plant will be evacuated by 132 kV transmission line to UPTCL. Additionally, the project has created job opportunities — both direct and indirect.
Said, Jayant Parimal, CEO, Renewable Energy Business, Adani Group, “We are moving closer to our aim of revolutionising the renewable energy sector in India.”
By the year-end, Adani expects to have over 2 GW of solar installed capacity
