PFAN is now accepting proposals from Asian Region for participating in the eight Asia Forum for Clean Energy Financing (AFCEF-8).
AFCEF-8 seeks projects with environmentally beneficial business proposals with the aim of linking them with investment and finance and making them happen.
Applications for AFCEF-8 must be received by July 19, 2017. Those seeking to submit their proposal can do so on https://climate-invest.fluxx.io/apply/pfan_registration.
Over the last eight years, PFAN has been very successful at leveraging financing for clean energy and climate change businesses in low and middle-income countries by providing them with business coaching and introductions to investors.
According to a statement released, PFAN has raised over $1.2 billion in financing for clean energy and energy efficiency projects and are looking forward to scaling up its operations over the coming years.
The operations and activities are funded by partners including the Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA), the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), the United States Agency for the International Development (USAID), International Center for Environmental Technology Transfer ( ICETT), the Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP), and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
It will be organised in cooperation with Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), Full Advantage, Dawn Consulting, CleanEnergy Solutions International (CSI) and PPL International.
