GE and Larsen and Toubro sign MoU to manufacture equipment for deep water projects
Contributing to India’s exploration and production (E&P) activities in the oil and gas sector, GE has signed an exclusive MoU with L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro (L&T). Together, the firms will partner in the manufacture of subsea manifolds destined for future deep water projects in the Krishna-Godavari basin on the east coast of India
First Solar connects 130 MW solar power to the grid
First Solar, Inc. announced the successful commercial operation of 80 MW AC and 50 MW AC capacity in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana respectively. These projects are part of the 260 MW AC project portfolio wholly owned by First Solar in India.
Inox Wind bags repeat order from SVL for 50 MW
Inox Wind Ltd, has bagged a repeat order from Surya Vidyut Limited for a 50 MW wind power project at Rojmal, Gujarat. The order which will be executed on turnkey basis, involving supply and installation of 25 units of Inox’s 100 meter rotor WTGs, is scheduled to be commissioned by December 2016. With a capacity of 400 MW, the Rojmal site is one of the largest wind farms in Gujarat.
Gamesa bags 40 MW wind order from KCT Renewable Energy
Gamesa has announced a 40 MW wind power project from KCT Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd to be commissioned at the Molagavalli site in Andhra Pradesh. The project essentially comprises 20 units of G114-2.0 MW T106 turbines which are due to be commissioned by March 2017.
