CIL rationalises price of non-coking coal
Coal India (CIL) has revised and rationalised the price of non-coking coal for all its subsidiary companies including North Eastern Coalfields (NEC) and the Non Linked Washery (NLW) coal of BCCL from May 28 of this year. The Surface Transportation Charges (STC) have also been revised from last November 14.
Country in dire need of coal washeries
A Parliamentary panel has said that not even a single coal washery of the proposed 20 to be built with an investment of Rs 2,500 crore has come up so far and wants Coal India (CIL) to work on 'war footing' for their early commissioning. SLSWCA imposes norms on coal washery rejects
State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of Orissa has decided to incorporate environmental conditions for setting up washery reject based power projects including Adani Mining Private (AMPL)’s proposed plant at Machhakuta in Angul district.
