Tata Power achieves 500 MW capacity
Tata Power has achieved the 500 MW renewable energy capacity with the commissioning of its solar plant at Palaswadi, Maharashtra. This is in line with the company´s commitment to generate 20-25 per cent clean energy rom hydro, solar, wind, geothermal, and waste gas.
Tata Power to increase its renewable energy capacity
Tata Power plans to increase its renewable energy capacity by about 71 per cent to cut carbon emissions and reduce risks from fuel prices. It is adding 646.7 MW of renewable energy capacity. The company has entered into PPAs with TPREL for electricity generated from a 25 MW solar plant at Palaswadi and a 32 MW wind project at Ambheri, both located in Maharashtra.
