Jakson Power has plans to invest about Rs 700 crore in order to set up solar power farms, thus increasing the company´s installed capacity to 200 MW over the next two years. This growth will be fuelled by the genset business and expansion in the solar power generation capacity and the hospitality business. Currently, the company has an installed capacity of 30 MW of solar power generation, 20 MW in Rajasthan and 10 MW in Uttar Pradesh. Now, it is in the process of setting up 30 MW more in UP and is eyeing Telangana as a potential market.
