The first of the two 300 MW units located at MIDC Growth Centre, Tadali of Chandrapur District was synchronised. The project is being executed by Dhariwal Infrastructure Limited (DIL), a 100 percent subsidiary of CESC Infrastructure Limited. Work on the 400 KVA transmission line has already been completed. The line for connecting the power station to the national network is under construction and is expected to be ready soon. Currently, CESC owns and operates four thermal power plants generating 1,225 MW of power in West Bengal.
