750 MW Rewa solar project to break new ground
Bids for the proposed and much delayed 750 MW solar power tender in the Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh are expected to be submitted by January 2017, although another extension still seems likely. The project is being tendered by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar (RUMS), a joint venture between SECI and the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Developers can bid for three project units of 250 MW each in a solar park being developed by RUMS.
ReNew Power awards 50MW turnkey wind project order to Gamesa
ReNew Power has placed a 50 MW turnkey project order to Gamesa. The order will be commissioned by March 2017. As per terms of the contract, Gamesa will supply 25 units of G114 – 2.0MW T106 turbines which will be set up at Amba, Madhya Pradesh.
Power charges up by 11 paise per unit in MP
Energy charges in Madhya Pradesh have risen by 11 paise per unit and will remain in force from October-December 2016, following which it will be revised for the next quarter.
