Thyssenkrupp joins The ´Make in India´ mission
ThyssenKrupp Elevator, a part of diversified industrial group ThyssenKrupp AG, today announced it will set up a state-of-the-art multipurpose manufacturing plant in the Chakan Industrial Area in Pune, Maharashtra, with an investment of 44 million euros (Rs 300 crore).
Rs.2,000 cr funding for Dabhol
Both GAIL and NTPC are to pump Rs.500 crore each into the separate company formed to take care of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) business of the former Ratnagiri Gas and Power Pvt Ltd (RGPPL), while a consortium of banks will invest another Rs.1,000 crore.
Odisha plans to set up 1,000 MW solar park
Odisha has unveiled an ambitious plan to set up a 1,000 MW solar park, for which identification of land of about 5,000 acres is underway. However, since a contiguous patch of 5,000 acres in Odisha may be difficult, the park might be developed in clusters.

ONGC identifies 6 projects to propel its next phase of growth
India´s biggest oil and gas explorer, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, has identified six major field development projects with an investment of Rs 241,881 million (~Rs 24,000 crore), over and above its flagship development project in the Krishna-Godavari (KG) basin to power the next phase of its growth.
