Sungrow supplied central inverters totalling 18MW in Japan in Dec
Sungrow announced that it supplied central inverters totalling 18 MW in Japan, last December. Sungrow’s containerised SG2000 central inverter has been supplied to the two plants in the area served by Kansai Electric Power (10 MW) and Chubu Electric Power (8 MW) respectively, and have been approved to be connected to local grids.

L&T bags Rs.1,700 crore order
Larsen & Toubro has bagged an EPC order worth Rs 1,700 crore from the 400 MW Japan-based Marubeni Corporation of Japan for the 400 MW Bibiyana III combined cycle power plant project for the Bangladesh Power Development Board. The project will be located in the Habiganj District of Sylhet Division.

French co to power floating solar plant
A Bengaluru-based alternative energy firm has submitted the detailed project report (DPR) for the the State´s first floating solar power station on water, to come up on Nittur Lake in Gubbi taluk of Tumakuru district. Enzen Global Solutions Pvt (EGSPL), in a tie-up with French company Ciel et Terre (CeT), has submitted the DPR to Karnataka Renewable Energy Development.

Aegis Logistics forms JV with Itochu for LPG sourcing
Aegis Logistics is forming a JV with Japan´s Itochu Petroleum Co. for its Singapore based LPG sourcing and supply business. For the JV, Aegis will be divesting its 40 per cent stake in its Singaporean subsidiary, Aegis Group International Pte Limited, for a consideration of $5.85 million.
