Vivaan Solar to light 4 NCR railway stations
Vivaan Solar has qualified to install 5 MW rooftop solar power plant at four major railway stations in Delhi/NCR. The tender was issued by Northern Railways, New Delhi for Anand Vihar terminal railway station, the Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station, the Old Delhi railway station, and the New Delhi Railway station, and their respective capacities are 1.1 MW, 0.6 MW, 2.2 MW, and 1.1 MW.
Adani sets up worlds largest solar plant in India
Adani Group has announced that its much anticipated 648 MW solar power plant in Tamil Nadu is finished ahead of schedule. Spread over 10 sq km, it took 8,500 men working two shifts every day for six months - and three shifts for two months - to finish, is the world's largest solar power station in a single location.

Surana Solar bags Rs.15.4 crore solar module order
Surana Solar Limited has announced that the company has won an order to supply solar modules for a value of Rs.15.4 crore for a 5 MW solar power plant in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh. The order is from Aryavaan Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Surana Telecom and Power Ltd.
Azure Power(s) DMRC with rooftop solar
Azure Power announced the successful installation and operation of its rooftop solar power plant for Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) at the Sultanpur facility. This is the first phase of a 14 MW allocation by DMRC to Azure Power, one of the largest by DMRC to a solar power developer.
