Lapp India aims to double current turnover
Seeing the potential of the Indian market our founder Andreas Lapp decided to set up operations in India way back in 1996 with the establishment of its very first manufacturing unit outside Germany, at Jigani, Bangalore.
The wires and cables industry has moved on from being the small industry it was 20 years back, to a very large industry over the last decade. Predominantly providing challenging opportunities in the field of manufacturing, supply chain and procurement, India as a market, is gaining importance in this industry.

We always believed in India as a manufacturing destination and this inspired us to set up our manufacturing unit in India way back in 1996. The Bangalore unit has a capacity to manufacture about 60,000 km of multi-core cables and 78,000 km of single core wires per annum.
