SJVN Ltd awards 50 MW Order to Inox Wind

Inox Wind Ltd has bagged a 50 MW wind power project from SJVN Limited to be deployed in Gujarat. The project is scheduled to be commissioned by November 2017 and will be executed on turnkey basis. As part of the order, Inox Wind will supply and install 25 units of its advanced 2 MW DFIG 113 rotor dia wind turbine generators for SJVN Limited.

The order comes with a 10-year 'operations and maintenance' services contract.Sources told a business newspaper that the order, excluding the service contract, is worth around Rs 300 crore. SJVN's wind farm is coming up in the Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra.
