AP to issue securities worth Rs 8,256 crore under UDAY
The Andhra Pradesh government has proposed issuance of special securities worth Rs 8,256.01 crore under the UDAY scheme. The securities will have a face value of Rs 100 issued in equal strips with a maturity at the end of 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th year, the RBI said in a statement.
First Solar connects 130 MW solar power to the grid
First Solar, Inc. announced the successful commercial operation of 80 MW AC and 50 MW AC capacity in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana respectively. These projects are part of the 260 MW AC project portfolio wholly owned by First Solar in India.
GE to invest upto $31 million in Mytrah wind project
Mytrah Vayu (Tungabhadra) Private Limited (MVTPL), a subsidiary of Mytrah Energy (India) Private Limited (MEIPL), has entered into a definitive agreement with Guayama PR Holdings BV, an investment vehicle of GE Energy Financial Services, whereby GE has agreed to invest upto $31 million in MVTPL to support the development of a 200 MW wind energy project in Andhra Pradesh.
