Leading EPC company Essar Projects, bagged the contract for replacing 141 km of pipeline of 18-inch diametre in the Koyali-Viramgam section of Indian Oil Corporation´s (IOCL) Koyali-Sanganer pipeline. The contract is valued at more than Rs.850 million, exclusive of the cost of pipes (supplied by IOCL). Originating at IOCL´s Gujarat Refinery in Koyali, the 1,056-km product pipeline is the company´s longest, and helps it meet its supply commitments in central India. The proposed gas grid and infrastructure requirements will along with the Bharat Stage 6 present opportunities in the near future.´
