Klystron ties-up with French firm for floating PV plants

To build floating solar photovoltaic plants in India, Ciel et Terre from France has signed a memorandum of agreement with Kolkata-based Klystron Electronics by using the Ciel et Terre's hydrelio technology. As part of the agreement, the two companies would undertake solar power projects in the eastern part of the country. The deal was facilitated by the European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC). Ciel et Terre and Klystron Electronics will be jointly evaluating and tapping the immense opportunities to co-develop floating solar PV projects, according to EBTC. EBTC said in a statement that floating solar PV is a unique solution to address the combined issue of energy, water conservation and land availability.
