Doosan Heavy to a $260 mn order to upgrade power plant in Indonesia
Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., a South Korean company, its consortium with state-owned construction company PT. Hutama Karya won the order from the state-run Indonesian PLN to convert 1,150 MW gas-fuelled Muara Tawar generator to a 1,800 MW combined cycle plant. Out of the 470 billion won worth project, Doosan Heavy is in charge of eight heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) and three steam turbines of the power plant which is located 40 km east of Jakarta.
