Suzlon wins 75-MW repeat order through MSEDCL bid
Suzlon Group has announced its order win for development of 75-MW wind power project from an independent power producer (IPP) through Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) bid. The company will install around 36 units of S111-140m wind turbine generators (WTGs) with rated capacity of 2.1 MW each. The project will be located in Maharashtra and will be commissioned as per MSEDCL bid guidelines. The company will execute the entire project on a turnkey basis and will also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for the complete project lifecycle. The S111 wind turbine generator (WTG) is the latest addition to the 2.1 MW platform. With a rotor diameter of 111.8 meters and swept area of 9,852 m2, the S111-140m is designed to optimally harness wind resources at higher altitudes making low wind sites viable. It not only delivers superior energy yield, but also offers higher return on investment for customers.
