Three-day conference on renewable energy in Pune
In Pune, the India Tech Foundation (ITF) has organised the three-day sixth international conference-cum-exhibition on renewable energy called as 'Renewtech India 2013', with the support of the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), from April 11 to 13, at the Auto Cluster Exhibition and Convention Centre in Chinchwad.
The Solar Energy Society of India, Wind Energy Association of India and World Bio Energy Association are also extending their support for the event. The two-day conference and three-day exhibition will focus on how to achieve additional 30,000 mw renewable energy capacity during the twelfth five year plan. The Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Farooq Abdullah will inaugurate the conference-cum-exhibition.
Top officials from the government, various renewable energy-related public sector undertaking (PSUs) as well as international power experts will speak about the existing scenario in the renewable energy sector.
All leading stakeholders in 'renewable energy and related sectors will showcase their expertise, products and services, while the conference will focus on the progress made so far in the renewable energy sector, future projections as well as regulatory issues.
