Reliance Power Limited promoted by the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, is a power generator with 2,545 MW operational capacity. The company has an extremely ambitious plan to set up a number of coal, gas and hydro power plants, including three Ultra Mega Power Projects (UMPPs) of 4 GW each at Sasan, Krishnapatnam and Tilaiya.

Reliance Power and Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) have signed a MoU to develop 3,000 MW of LNG based combined cycle power project in Bangladesh in phases, along with a Floating Storage and Re-gasification Unit (FSRU) based LNG terminal to supply re-gasified LNG to the power project. The company has also signed an MoU with the Government of Rajasthan to develop 6,000 MW of solar projects over the next 10 years. It has a ready pipeline of power projects of nearly 15,000 MW and production of ~100 MTPA from captive coal mines.
