KEC International bags Rs 13 billion order
KEC International, a global infrastructure EPC major has secured new orders of Rs 13.57 billion across its businesses.
Its transmission and distribution business has secured turnkey orders of Rs 12.34 billion across SAARC nations, parts of America, Middle East and Africa.
That said, the company bagged a 400 kV transmission project in Dubai and a 400 kV GIS substation to be executed in north east for state-run PGCIL in India.
That apart, KEC International also won 225 Kv transmission line in Senegal and substations in Ivory coast, . In addition, the company has also undertaken work for 138 kV transmission lines and associated substation in Nicaragua and a 400 kV D/C river crossing transmission line in Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, the company’s cable business has secured orders worth Rs 1.23 billion.
Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, KEC International said, “We have consolidated our leadership position in the Middle East market by re-entering Dubai. With the order win in Nicaragua, KEC marks its direct entry into the American T&D EPC market, apart from its current presence in Brazil through SAE Towers.”
