India's largest engineering sourcing international show to be held in Mumbai
Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) India on the eve of their Western Region awards function announced India's largest engineering sourcing show (IESS). The IESS will be organised for the first time in India (Mumbai) from 22 - 24 March 2012. Its objective is to give an opportunity to Indian companies to explore business alliances globally with leading industry heads. The show will focus on Indian industrial supply in the manufacturing sector, discuss technologies for business, innovation, cleantech, global sourcing and supplies and factory automation.
Speaking on the occasion, Aman Chadha, Chairman, EEPC India said, "The country's engineering exports for April-September 2011 is estimated to be around $46.4 billion out of the total exports of $160 billion. This implies a share of 29 per cent of total exports."
