Vineet Mittal is the Co founder and MD of Welspun Energy. He has a wide network across multiple industries and holds positions in ventures ranging from hospitality, textiles, oil and gas, information technology, and information technology-enabled services. Prior to Welspun, Mittal was the President and MD at Infowavz, the world-'s leading global contact center provider, which achieved success despite a global downturn.

Mittal also advises the government on a number of matters. Currently, he is also a member of Solar Energy Advisory Council -Ministry of New & Renewable Energy. He also serves as Chairman of the Solar Independent Power Producers Association. In addition to his position as a Managing Director, Mittal serves as the Managing General Partner at Preston Ventures LLC.

• Mittal is a member of the World Economic Forum-'s Steering Committee on Infrastructure and Urban Development.
• He has been invited as an expert in forum series - CNBC TV18's Sustainable Energy, Danish Embassy-'s 3GF' in Copenhagen, WEF-'s sessions in Davos, India and Myanmar on innovation - low carbon finance -growth through sustainable energy.
