Solar saves Rs.40,000 per month for Siddhivinayak temple

MumbaiĀ“s popular Siddhivinayak temple has reduced its electricity bills by 30 per cent by adopting solar energy over the last four years. Comprising of 72 panels atop the centuries old temple, the 20 kWh solar rooftop plant has been saving Rs.40,000 per month, while powering lights and fans on every floor, reducing their dependency on the grid.
