SunEdison inks 180 MW solar deal with TPDDL

Renewable energy giant SunEdison, Inc., announced that it has signed a long-term PPA with Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited to provide 180 MW AC of utility-scale solar power for New Delhi over the next 20 years.

The project to be built in Madhya Pradesh, is the largest agreement SunEdison has signed under the open access solar framework, allowing renewable providers to sell energy directly through the national grid to end customers.
