Shubhra Mohanka, director, Solid Solar

With degrees from stellar institutes, Shubhra Mohanka graduated as a science student from St Stephens College, Delhi University and pursued MBA from MDI Gurgaon. Prior to Gautam Polymers, she worked as a Global Product manager in HCL Infrastructure services division,one of the fastest growth division of HCL.
Under Mohanka’s guidance, Solid Solar has successfully set up solar power plants in Jantar Mantar, Safdarjung Tomb, BHU Varanasi, IIT Kanpur, Bank Branches and rural mini grids to electrify villages. Chugging along the growth trajectory, Mohanka’s journey so far traces the establishment of a company with a larger social purpose of facilitating energy security throughout the country thereby promoting sustainable development.
