Kalpataru commence operation on transmission project
Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited has commenced commercial operations of its second transmission line BOOT project, which has been setup for evacuation of 2X250 MW state power project at Satpura, Madhya Pradesh.
The project scope involves design, financing, construction and commissioning, and operation and maintenance of 240 kms of 400 KV transmission line.Won with a quoted grant of Rs 60.75 crore, the company will own the project for 25 years with an extension of 10 years. It is the second of its kind project executed by Kalpaturu within record time of 16 months through its SPV namely Kalpataru Satpura Transco Private Limited.
Commenting on the announcements, Ranjit Singh, Managing Director, ´This is the second successful implementation of a DBFOT project by KPTL in the Transmission Sector and will add around Rs 38 crores of annuity to our annual income and is part of our growth cum diversification strategy.´
