Suzlon arm bags 58 mw wind turbine orders in UK
German unit of India's Suzlon Energy REpower Systems SE, has won orders to supply 58 megawatts of turbines for four wind farms in the United Kingdom.
The Suzlon arm has signed an agreement with Vattenfall AB to install 18 turbines with a total capacity of 37 megawatts.The machines will be installed within a year starting March 2014, Suzlon said.
The Pune-based company has also signed agreements with Broadview Energy for three machines generating 6.15 megawatts, Temporis Capital LLP for two turbines producing 6.8 megawatts and Good Energy Group for 8.2 megawatts from four turbines.
