TRF, Sinofinn ink pact for ash-handling projects

TRF, a TATA group company, and Shanghai-based Sinofinn New Energy Investment Company have signed a Memorandum of Association to jointly execute ash-handling projects in thermal power plants in India.

Sinofinn has know-how on fly ash vacuum and pressure conveying technology, dry and wet bottom ash conveying technology, trouble-shooting of AHP system in thermal power plants and is also one of the biggest engineering companies on ash handling.
The agreement is to fulfill the expansion plans of TRF by undertaking Balance of Plant (BoP) projects in thermal power plants like ash handling, coal handling and raw material handling systems which the company has specialised over several decades.
In view of the power plant projects that have been planned in the years to come, there is growing demand for a package of coal handling, ash handling and plant water systems.
