TAPS generated 28% of Indias atomic power in 2013-14
Tarapur Atomic Power Station (TAPS) generated 28 per cent of India's total nuclear energy production in the fiscal ended March 31. The total nuclear power generated in the country in the year under review was 35,333 MUs (million units). Of this, TAPS accounted for 9,884 MUs or 27.97 per cent, NPCIL said in a report on its website. The PSU operates all atomic power facilities in the country.
