ReNew Power awards 50 MW turnkey wind project order to Gamesa

ReNew Power has placed a 50 MW turnkey project order to Gamesa, to be commissioned by March 2017. As per terms of the contract, Gamesa will supply 25 units of G114–2.0 MW T106 turbines which will be set up at Amba, Madhya Pradesh. Being a turnkey project, Gamesa will handle the entire infrastructure needed to install and operate the facility. Commenting on the deal Sumant Sinha, Chairman & CEO, ReNew Power, added, “We are proud to partner with Gamesa and this deal further strengthens our faith in them delivering cutting edge technology for their wind turbines.” Ramesh Kymal, Chairman and Managing Director - Gamesa India added, “We thank ReNew Power for this repeat order which signifies our strong technological foothold and project management capabilities in the Indian renewable energy industry.”
