ENGIE agrees joint venture for wind power in India

In order to set up a platform for wind projects in India, ENGIE has partnered with STOA in a 50:50 joint venture. With a total capacity of 2 GW, within the next five years, the project will involve both, onshore and offshore wind installations. Following the lead of two wind projects at Tamil Nadu and Gujarat, which are secured by the French multinational energy company ENGIE in India worth a total of 280 MW, STOA will be stepping into the Indian market.
