P K Ranade, CMD, Advanced Metering Technology

PK Ranade has over 40 years of experience in the manufacture and sale of electrical low voltage protection and distribution equipment. He has been involved in Bureau of Indian Standards certification bodies and represented India in the International Electrotechnical Commission committee for Fusegear for many years as a panel expert. He has received many professional awards from various forums including the Vijaya Ratna award by then Prime Minister Chandrasekhar for his contribution to the growth of technology. He is an active member of various industry bodies and is on the board of Federation of Indo-German Societies and also an active member of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce. In addition to being past president of the Rotary Club (Delhi) he is also Secretary General of the Kiwanis Club in Delhi. He is involved in many charitable endeavours and drives the CSR effort of the group which also supports an orphanage in Haryana. He did his BSc from Government College, Chandigarh, and his MTech in Mechanical Engineering from AACHAN University (West Germany). In his spare time he is an avid reader and is also interested in music and singing.
