L and T, BHEL and Doosan race for Rs.14,000 cr NTPC order
Larsen & Toubro, Bharat Heavy Electricals and Korea's Doosan are in race for a Rs.14,000 crore order from NTPC Ltd's arm to supply equipment and set up its 3x800 MW coal-based plant as part of the company's expansion project at Patratu in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district.
NLC starts construction of solar power plant
Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), commenced construction work for establishing a 65 MW solar power plant in an area of 325 acres at Neyveli township. This is a part of its long-term goal of setting up of solar power plants with 4,000 MW capacity at various parts of the country.
