CBI probe in 33 out of total 53 coal scam cases pending | Govt
c has registered a total of 53 cases related to the coal scam in which blocks were allegedly distributed in violation of policies with the probe in 33 cases still pending. The agency had registered three preliminary inquiries in the matter covering allocations during 2006-09, during 1993-2005 and through Government dispensation route, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Jitendra Singh said.

ED to probe money-laundering in 6 coal scam cases
CBI is set to forward documents relating to some coal scam cases to the Enforcement Directorate for investigations into alleged money laundering by private companies and individuals, after a senior official from the latter organisation recently met the coal probe team asking for all related documents, sources said.
