Discoms in face-off with NTPC over coal quality
Delhi´s power distribution companies (discoms), including BSES Yamuna, BSES Rajdhani and Tata Power Delhi have filed a petition with the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission in which they have claimed that NTPC is charging them more for coal than its low quality warranted, with the excess paid being ´up to Rs.3,000 crore´.

Electricity Tribunal wants recovery plan from BSES, DERC
The Appellate Tribunal for Electricity has directed DERC and BSES to come up with a road map indicating a recovery schedule. BSES Yamuna and BSES Rajdhani distribute power to 3.2 million homes in the national capital. APTEL was reviewing the offer made by DERC for recovery of the discoms' past dues.
