Central, state agencies look for lower power tariff
Several agencies and institutions of state and central governments have requested the Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission (TSERC) to a cut in retail power supply tariff proposed by the two distribution companies (discoms) for 2018-19, which retained the current year tariff, stating that it is comparably high.
Mangalore-Bangalore LPG pipeline to be completed in two years
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) will lay a pipeline to transport liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) between Mangalore and Bangalore, said Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Veerappa Moily. Addressing presspersons during his visit to the LPG import facility of HPCL in Mangalore, he said that the 362-km LPG pipeline between Mangalore and Bangalore would be set up at a cost of around Rs.701 crore.
HPCL to open transport hub for LPG tanker crew in Mangalore
The transport hub for LPG tanker crew, which is being set up by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), will be inaugurated in January. Union Petroleum Minister Veerappa Moily said the transport hub is being set up at the LPG import facility of HPCL here at a cost of Rs. 1.2 crore.
