Gamesa wins contract from SJVN for 56 wind turbines
Gamesa Wind Turbines India has bagged an order from SJVN, a 'mini-ratna' central public sector undertaking, for the supply of 56 wind turbines of 850 KW capacity each totalling 47.60 MW. The order comes with a 10-year 'operations and maintenance' services contract.Sources told a business newspaper that the order, excluding the service contract, is worth around Rs 300 crore. SJVN's wind farm is coming up in the Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra.
