The board of directors of Toshiba Corporation have appointed Satoshi Tsunakawa, Representative Executive Officer and Corporate Senior Executive Vice President of Toshiba, as Representative Executive Officer, President and CEO of the Company - a move that it hopes will draw a line under a damaging accounting scandal.
