The renewable energy sector is growing by leaps and bounds, but shortage of skilled manpower is threatening to become a major bottleneck, says Devarajan Mahadevan. The renewable sector is booming, and employment opportunities are on the rise. According to the latest figures available with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IREA), the number of people employed in the renewable energy sector grew 14 per cent to 6.5 million in 2013.
