THDCIL commissions 63 MW wind power project at Dwarka
THDC India Limited (THDCIL), has commissioned its second wind power project of 63 MW capacity in Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat on March 31, 2017. This 63 MW Wind Power project awarded to Suzlon Energy Limited on November 28, 2016 with scheduled commissioning period of four months.

Wind Solar Hybrid Power project for Anantapur
India's first, Wind Solar Hybrid Power project, an integrated project of both solar and wind energy, is taking shape in Anantapur. The Andhra Pradesh state government recently released a draft of Wind Solar Hybrid Power Policy, which is also first in the country to leverage infrastructure and clean energy. Andhra Pradesh had signed an MoU with Suzlon Energy group for the wind energy projects.

Our new technologies boost power production by 15-20percent
During the last financial year, we posted profits and expect to do so, this year too. We will now continuously be on the profitable path because we have brought down some fixed costs. Also, when we plan to add over 1,000 MW a year, we will always be in profit. The market is growing at 30 per cent and we are growing above the market levels.

Suzlon announces Rs.1,800 cr equity infusion
Suzlon Group, the world-´s fifth-largest wind turbine manufacturer has announced signing of definitive agreements with Dilip Shanghvi Family and Associates (DSA) for equity investments of Rs 1,800 crore in Suzlon Energy Limited.

Suzlon plans 2,000 MW wind projects
Suzlon Energy Ltd plans to build wind energy projects totalling 2,000 megawatts (MW) for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and independent power producers in Madhya Pradesh in the next five years.
