New projects, more investment, policies like Surya Mitra Skill Development and encouragement from the government will create more job opportunities. According to studies, 1 GW of solar installation creates approximately 5,000 jobs (starting from manufacturing to the execution of the project). Which are the core segments that will see the creation of jobs? Business development, design and pre-construction, construction and commissioning, operations and maintenance are the primary areas where the Indian solar sector will require resources.
