BHEL commissions 250 MW thermal power plant in Gujarat

BHEL has commissioned another Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion (CFBC) technology based unit, at Gujarat. Commissioned at Bhavnagar Energy Company (BECL), the 2x250 MW thermal power plant is located at Padva village in Bhavnagar district, the company said in a statement.
102 NDMC buildings to have solar panels

New Delhi Municipal Council´s power department has stated plans to install solar panels at more than 100 buildings within their jurisdiction. Under the Smart City project, solar panels would be installed at 102 buildings of which 28 would produce 1.5 MW energy and 74 would generate 1 MW power, a senior NDMC official said.
