Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), in collaboration with Meraas Holding, has inaugurated a new 132/11 kV sub-station with a total capacity of 150 MVA at Al Quoz 4, to meet the increasing demand for electricity.
Sterlite Power achieves financial closure for transmission project

Sterlite Power Transmission Limited has achieved financial closure for its transmission project that will increase electricity supply to residential, commercial and industrial establishments in parts of Haryana. The transmission project will increase power supply by 2,000-3,000 MW to the energy starved region and strengthen the transmission network.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), inaugurated the 400/132 kV sub-station at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. The AED 275 million sub-station has a conversion capacity of 1,515 MVA.
PGCIL starts work on 220 kV sub-station
