Chinas Sany Group to invest $3 billion in India

ABB Q1 net up 19% to Rs.57 crore
ABB India Ltd today announced that its net profit has risen 18.75 per cent to Rs 57.45 crore for Q2 ending June. ABB follows the January to December accounting period.

PGCIL to commission Assam-Agra line by Aug-end
Transmission giant Power Grid announced that the 6,000 MW capacity Assam to Agra transmission line, costing Rs 12,000 crore, will be commissioned by month-end. ´The 1,730 km long 800 kV HVDC transmission line would start commissioning by either August 30 or August 31.
