Replacement Market to Drive BTG Demand

L and T, BHEL and Doosan race for Rs.14,000 cr NTPC order
Larsen & Toubro, Bharat Heavy Electricals and Korea's Doosan are in race for a Rs.14,000 crore order from NTPC Ltd's arm to supply equipment and set up its 3x800 MW coal-based plant as part of the company's expansion project at Patratu in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district.

Schneider Electric powers 2 GW solar
Schneider Electric India announced that it has powered more than 2 GW of solar capacity in India through its inverters, transformers and other medium voltage equipment and expects to achieve 2.5 GW (including 500 MW solar) by March 2017.
