Telangana to achieve 3 GW solar
Telangana is set to cross the 3 GW solar power generation capacity by 2017-end, up from about 1.1 GW installed capacity now. In achieving the 3 GW mark, the state will also be able to cross another milestone of achieving over 15 per cent of the total energy contribution from the renewable energy segmen.

Nagpur to have 27 MW solar power systems under Centre’s project
The standing committee of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation has approved a proposal to appoint city-based BRR Renewable Energy Consultant as project management consultant to install 27 MW of solar systems under the Centre's solar energy and net metering project.

DEWA inaugurates 400/132kV sub-station at solar park
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), inaugurated the 400/132 kV sub-station at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. The AED 275 million sub-station has a conversion capacity of 1,515 MVA.
